Prayer and Poem: The Lamp to Guide My Feet

I pray this poem (inspired by Psalm 119:105) and prayer for new beginnings will bless you on your faith journey as we head into 2024. Whether you’re new to the Christian faith or a seasoned believer, continue to put your trust in the Most High God. Spend some time in worship and meditation today. His Light will be our compass. His love will never fail. He alone is worthy of our praise. 🙂

The Lamp To Guide My Feet

Spirit of the Living God,

Let my soul spring alive!

I want to face these hidden fears,

Let the love of Your Light shine.

In You, I will find courage to speak,

In faith, I seek Your peace,

To accomplish Your good purposes,

You are the lamp to guide my feet.

You are the Shepherd to Your sheep,

You protect us all night long,

Awaken me to Your serenity,

Awaken in me Your song.

Prayer Suggestion For New Beginnings:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your love and grace. Thank You for guiding my footsteps as I walk by faith and not by sight. You alone are worthy of my praise. I will praise You for all of my days! Father God, I pray You will continue to give me the strength, wisdom, and courage to follow You wherever You lead me. Do not let my heart be troubled or afraid. I pray for Your supernatural peace to wash over me as I venture into new territory. You are the Living Waters that refresh my soul. You are the Light that forever shines in the darkness. Open my ears to Your instruction, Lord of my Salvation. Allow me to hear from You and be directed by Your Spirit. Increase my faith. I am ready to take the next steps with You as Your humble servant. Help me to glorify Your Name in all I do. Let me represent Your Holy Kingdom, so others may come to know You and honor You. Thank You for these new beginnings and opportunities. As I continue to walk in Your ways and follow Your statutes, bless me and keep me safe. In You I put my trust, for You are my compass.
