You Alone Are My Peace

Jesus Christ, Messiah,

Provide a stillness within me,

Hear my heart’s silent cry,

And calm the raging sea.

Fill me with Your courage now,

And fill me with Your Light,

Guide me with Your Holy fire,

Through the day and through the night.

In You, I am made strong again,

Even when I am weak.

In You, I find my lost hope,

In the wake of my enemies.

Only You can set me free, Lord,

Redeem me and break these chains!

Protect me from the evil one,

Keep my soul from being slain.

Consume me with Your Presence,

As much as I can stand,

Lend me Your ear, King of Kings,

You Who sit at His right hand.

You alone are my Power,

You alone are my Peace,

You give me greater purpose,

And I thank You eternally.
