Poem: The One Almighty

Hello!

I pray you’ve been well. 🙂

I’ve been trying to get into the groove of painting by hand again. I like digital art, but (in my humble opinion) digital art is not as soothing watching paint flow on paper. The anticipation of seeing your painting when it has dried is also satisfying!

I recommend watching Liron Yanconsky’s watercolor videos if you’re a beginner. Perhaps you’ll add painting to your list of hobbies like I have!

I decided to pair the above watercolor art with a spoken word poem I wrote to honor the Most High.

We may not always understand His plans, yet we don’t have to have all the answers to experience peace within. It’s a strange and wonderful thing! We might not be perfect, but God is patient and good. It’s part of our spiritual life to have bumps in the road, especially on the road to eternal life, where there will be tests of endurance. While we may not enjoy “running out of gas” on a country road, God has given us a way to enjoy the scenery in hard seasons. He will not forsake us in the moments we feel lost either. He has blessed us with the opportunity to be at peace no matter where we are. Travel with faith and hope.

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalms 118:24 (KJV)

May He continue to bless us and light the way for us as we travel the roads ahead in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The One Almighty

Elohim!

My God is the one Almighty,

Always lighting the way for me

And for His people.

To those who want to believe

In something like eternity,

It’s real,

And we have the chance to feel it,

But we have to endure this life

For the meantime.

In the meantime, I’ll be singing:

Praises to the Most High,

Elohim!

On eagles wings

I’m ready to fly with you!

Lead me further into purpose.

Tell me my dues

And I’ll pay them,

For the King’s Kingdom.
