Faith Restored

Before I knew You, I thought it was a lie,

That nobody could change the feelings kept deep inside.

Now I’m sure You were you watching me,

Sending Angels to guide.

You took my heart and put it through the fire,

You dried my tears and picked me up again,

When I was lonely, You were my only friend,

When darkness came, You became my night light,

Gave me Your word that it would be all right.

When my enemies slandered me,

With their wicked tongue and ways,

You kept my heart clean and pure,

And helped the pain to fade.

When I receive my blessings on that God given day,

I won’t hesitate to kneel down,

I won’t hesitate to pray.

Jesus, you brought me back,

I was headed the wrong way,

Now I know a love that’s real,

And I thank You every day.

This poem was inspired by the Messiah, Jesus Christ. I definitely love learning about Him and am inspired by His wisdom and compassion. I hope to embody the love of Christ and bring His healing Light to those who want to be part of Mountain Flower Ministry!
