Learning new skills can be frustrating as a perfectionist with grand ideas.

With a ton of information online these days, we can get overwhelmed on where to start or how to continue.

I’ve had to learn to have fun with the process and ride the waves of my own artsy energy.

Whenever I feel I’m at a creative plateau, I start to go all in without any set limitations.

Do I want to scribble away without any thought? Do I have the urge to throw colors on a canvas? Do I start to feel joy at the thought of learning a new creative skill?

Sometimes God wants us to relax our minds. To trust we are in good hands. To transmute our inner feelings into artwork.

We are always free to create and let go of noisy thought processes.

It is only our human side that holds us back.
